As part of the efforts to implement the joint Arab vision for the digital economy launched by H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may Allah protect him", in the presence of Lt. Gen. H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.E Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the League of Arab States, and H.E Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, a memorandum of understanding was signed to establish the Arab Digital Market for Foodstuffs.
His Highness and H.E Aboul Gheit witnessed part of the 54th meeting of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action, in the presence of members of the Executive Office of the SAFF. His Highness and Aboul Gheit witnessed the signing of a second memorandum of understanding between the Arab Federation for Digital Economy and the AICTO in support of the Arab ICT sector.
His Highness welcomed the attendees in their second country, the UAE, conveying to them the greetings of H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may Allah protect him", who is always keen to support and sponsor Arab integration projects.
Before signing the memorandums, His Highness and the audience watched a video showing part of the work efforts within the implementation of the joint Arab vision for the digital economy and the importance of joint Arab action in support of these efforts to put them into practice.
