The final MOI's Ramadan Councils discussed "Government Empowerment of the Family"
The Ministry of Interior's Ramadan Councils concluded their 14th session yesterday, Friday. The councils, titled "The Emirati Family... A Shared National Responsibility," discussed several themes and topics aimed at enriching dialogue and efforts to enhance family and individual protection and community empowerment, contributing to achieving the goals of the Year of Community.
Bin Rakkad Al Ameri Council: The UAE is a Global Model of Social Support
In Al Ain, Sheikh Mohammed Hamad bin Rakkad Al Ameri hosted the Ministry of Interior's Ramadan Council, moderated by Dr. Mohammed Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory. Colonel Dr. Ali Mubarak Al Zaabi, Director of the Police Follow-up Department at the Ministry of Interior, Khalid Ahmed Al Kaabi from the Family Development Foundation, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Mohammed Al Junaibi, lecturer at the Police College, and Hamid Khalfan Al Kindi from the Sharjah Police General Command attended and participated in the Council.
Speakers agreed that the UAE has a proven record of taking the initiative and providing all means to ensure the protection and care of women and children.
Al Ain Council: The Vital Role of the Family
The Ministry of Interior's Ramadan Council, also in Al Ain, was hosted by Musabah Khalfan Al Kaabi and moderated by media personality Mohammed Al Ahmed. Colonel Ahmed Juma Al Kaabi from the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, Dr. Youssef Ahmed Omar from the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Al Badawi from the Khalifa Empowerment Program (Aqdar), and Dr. Hussein Al Sarhan, a family guidance advisor, also attended and participated in the council.
Dubai Council (Women): Family Security Protects Society
Her Excellency Mona Khalifa Hammad, Member of the Federal National Council, hosted the Women's Ramadan Council of the Ministry of Interior, which was held in Dubai. The council was moderated by media personality Samah Ahmed. Attendees and participants included Sheikha Fatima bint Hashr Al Maktoum, Sheikha Shamsa bint Hashr Al Maktoum, Her Excellency Amna Al Adidi, Member of the Federal National Council, Her Excellency Aisha Al Yateem, Member of the Federal National Council, Her Excellency Mona Tahnoon, Member of the Federal National Council, Moza Obaid Ghubash Al Muhairi, Chairwoman of the Ousha bint Hussein Cultural and Educational Center, Sheikha Aisha Saeed Al Sharqi, Director of the Rehabilitation Programs Branch at the Juvenile Foundation, Maitha Mohammed Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Empowerment Sector at the Community Development Authority, Fatima Bu Haroun Al Shamsi from the Dubai Police General Command, Dr. Lamia Ahmed Al Zaabi from the Ministry of Interior, and Major Dr. Maryam Al Hammadi, Faculty Member at the Police College.
They emphasized that the UAE's experience in social support provides an umbrella and protection for society and its members, through the government services and social support it provides to families, as well as distinguished programs that contribute to prevention and protection of society.
Ajman Women's Council: Integrating Roles within the Work System
In Ajman, Wafa Hassan Al Shamsi hosted the Ministry of Interior's Ramadan Women's Council, moderated by media personality Amira Mohammed. The event was attended and participated by Her Excellency Sheikha Azza Abdullah Al Nuaimi, family counselor Aisha Ahmed Al Huwaidi Al Ali, Dr. Radhia Hassan Al Raisi, Head of the Family Reconciliation Department, Captain Dr. Ashba Hamad Al Ketbi from the Sharjah Police General Command, and Wafa Khalil Al Hosani, Director of the Social Support Center in Ajman.
The speakers emphasized the country's leadership in continuing to integrate roles and shared responsibility as an integrated system of institutions and individuals to contribute to achieving a sustainable social impact that enhances the development process and promotes stability and social cohesion.
Ras Al Khaimah Council: Emirati Leadership in Community Empowerment
The council hosted retired Major General. Abdul Salam Al Shehhi, the Ministry of Interior's Ramadan Council, held in Ras Al Khaimah and moderated by media personality Mohammed Ghanem, attended and participated in by Brigadier General Ahmed Al Sam Al Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police; Colonel Saif Salem Al Khuraibani Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Community Protection and Crime Prevention at the Ministry of Interior; Colonel Salem Al Nuaimi, Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defense Department; Colonel Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Subaian Al Tunaiji, Director of the Federal Social Support Department; Yousef Mohammed Al Shehhi from the Ministry of Justice; and Dr. Saif Ahmed Al Shafiri from the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command. Umm Al Quwain Council: Strengthening the Role of Institutions in Empowering the Family
In Umm Al Quwain, Sultan Rashid Al Ali hosted the Ministry of Interior Council, moderated by media personality His Excellency Mohammed Al Kaabi. The Council was attended and participated by His Excellency Mohammed Issa Al Kashf, member of the National Council; Brigadier Saeed Obaid Saif Bin Aran, Director General of Police Operations at Umm Al Quwain Police; Abdullah Mohammed Al Ansari, Director of the Erada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai; Colonel Saif Salem Zaid Al Ali, Director of the Correctional and Punitive Institutions Department in Umm Al Quwain; Advisor Mohammed Yousef Al Shaer from the Supreme Council for Family Affairs; Major Saif Hamid Adran Al Ali from the Umm Al Quwain Police General Command; and Dr. Abdullah Awad Abdullah, faculty member at the Police College.
Fujairah Women's Council: Emirati Initiatives Supporting Family Empowerment
Her Excellency Sheikha Saeed Al Kaabi, Member of the Federal National Council, hosted the Ministry of Interior's Ramadan Women's Council in Fujairah. Moderated by media personality Alia Al Falasi, the event was attended and participated by Her Excellency Naema Abdullah Saeed Al Sharhan, Member of the Federal National Council; Her Excellency Aisha Mohammed Al Mulla, former Member of the Federal National Council; Dr. Maryam Darwish Mohammed Al Hashimi from the Fujairah Police General Command; Nawal Rashid Al Zeyoudi from the Ministry of Justice; Fatima Saif Al Shamsi, Training Expert; and Dr. Maryam Ahmed Al Kaabi from the Fujairah Police General Command.
The speakers emphasized that the UAE, under the vision of its wise leadership, is committed to providing a decent standard of living for all individuals and families.
