Lt.-Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Baniyas Sports and Cultural Club congratulated the jiu-jitsu team in the club that won the President's Cup and the Vice-President's Cup for 2022 on their continuous achievements in international events.

The Minister urged the jiu-jitsu champions to pursue more achievements and represent the club and the state in local and international competitions and championships with the vision and support of the judicious leadership.

This came during his visit to the Baniyas Cultural Club, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Baniyas Sports and Cultural Club, HE Maj. Gen. Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, HE Brig. Gen. Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Vice President and a number of club officials.

The minister was keen during the visit to talk with the players of the sports teams, attend part of the training and take group photos with the teams.

Sheikh Saif called on the players and administrative staff to do their best to support the efforts of sports development in the country and realize more local, regional and global achievements.
