The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Human Rights Department, celebrated the International Day of Peace by organizing a virtual lecture about human rights law to shed the light on the law codes and its application procedures on the international level.

Throughout the lecture, Lt. Colonel Dr. Hamad Al Shameely showcased the concept of peace and its beginnings when it was launched by international treaties and agreements to preserve civil human rights and peaceful societies.

He concluded the lecture by talking about the pioneering internal and external national efforts of the UAE in enhancing the values and concept of international peace through its keenness on joining international treaties and alliances to enhance the concepts of tolerance and peace and provide security and safety to societies
