Lt.-Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met today at the Ministry of Interior's HQs with HE Lt.-Gen. Anan Hamid Omar, Minister of Interior in charge of the Republic of Sudan, and the accompanying delegation.

At the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance and promote the existing bilateral relations between the two countries in the security and policing fields. 

The meeting was attended by the UAE Ministry of Interior, Maj. Gen. Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Maj. Gen. Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Service and some other senior officers.

The visiting delegation included Lt.-Gen. Abdel Moneim Mohamed Abdel Qayoom, Assistant Director-General for Financial Affairs, Lt.-Gen. Nasr El-Din Mohamed Abdel Rahim, Assistant Director-General for Traffic, Lt.-Gen. Al-Siddiq Al-Obaid Abdullah, Assistant Director-General of the Central Reserve Forces, and Maj. Gen. Tariq Mohamed Mohamed Ibrahim, Director of the General Administration for International Cooperation, Maj. Gen. Muawiya Police Jaafar Mohamed Othman, Director of the General Department of Passports and Immigration, Maj. Gen. Issam El-Din Police Jaber Haggar Talib, the Ministerial Executive Office as well as a number of officers.
