Saif bin Zayed Meets Uzbek Foreign Minister
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, held a meeting with His Excellency Bakhtiar Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, they discussed the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Uzbekistan, focusing on ways to enhance these ties across various fields to meet the aspirations and visions of their respective leaderships. They also reviewed current regional and international developments, emphasizing the importance of fostering stability to drive progress and achieve sustainable development in the region.
At the meeting were Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Federal Anti-Narcotics Department at the Ministry of Interior; and several other officers. Representing Uzbekistan were His Excellency Bakhrom Aluyev, First Deputy Minister of Uzbekistan; His Excellency Abdulaziz Akulov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UAE; and other members of the delegation.
