MOI Child Protection Center Hosts Awareness Lecture Titled “Our Children in the Digital World”
As part of the Safer Internet Day 2025 activities, the Ministry of Interior’s Child Protection Center organized a virtual awareness lecture titled Our Children in the Digital World. The session aimed to enhance awareness of digital safety for children while strengthening their technical capabilities.
The lecture was delivered by Captain Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi from the Child Protection Center, with insights shared by Abeer Abdul Rahim Al Hammadi, Director of the Preventive Protection Branch at the Center.
Key topics covered included the positive and negative impacts of the digital world on children, the role of moral values in digital interactions, and the factors that draw children to digital platforms. The session also emphasized the necessity of adapting to the digital age and provided practical strategies for parents to instill ethical values in their children while ensuring a safe online environment.
