MOI Wraps Up Participation in Ramadan Sports League with Emirates School Education Foundation

The Ministry of Interior wrapped up its extensive involvement in the Ramadan Sports League organized by the Emirates School Education Foundation.The Ministry of Interior was honored among the partners, sponsors and supporters at a ceremony in Ras Al Khaimah in the presence of Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, President of the Emirates Foundation for School Education, Sheikh Mohammed bin Kayed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah, and His Excellency Sulaiman Al Kaabi, Director. Executive Director of the First School Branch of the Emirates Foundation for School Education and a number of officials.

The Ministry took part in a special awards ceremony honoring the league winners, showcasing its pavilion themed "Together...we protect the future of tomorrow's leaders." Located in Ajman, the pavilion hosted a variety of activities and programs, including sports competitions in football, basketball, and soccer, along with games like tug of war and exhibitions such as the police dog shows. Additionally, there were preventive workshops for children and families, an innovation laboratory, dialogue and advisory sessions, and a heritage corner.
The Ministry's sessions covered a range of crucial topics, from drug prevention to enhancing protective factors, resisting external pressures, and the role of police units in safeguarding society. They also focused on communication methods, reporting procedures, and the community's role in child protection and fostering stable, safe families. Special attention was given to fire safety measures.
With over 140 workshops conducted, thousands of students, educators, administrative staff, social workers, and parents benefited from the event, gaining awareness about drug abuse prevention, family-oriented initiatives, and reinforcing national identity among tomorrow's leaders.

The Ministry emphasized identifying protective and risk factors, and enhancing children's physical, mental, and psychological skills through the "Siraj" program's comprehensive approach.
