Unified Gulf Traffic Week Wraps Up
The Unified Gulf Traffic Week, organized by the Federal Traffic Council in collaboration with strategic partners and hosted by the Sharjah Police General HQs, concluded under the theme Driving Without a Phone.
The activities held at the main celebration venue witnessed broad community participation and featured a diverse array of awareness initiatives, including workshops, lectures, live demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies, as well as displays of traffic patrol procedures and enforcement practices. In parallel, police general commands across the UAE hosted complementary events in observance of the week, encompassing the distribution of educational materials, awareness lectures, panel discussions, and forums.
The Ministry of Interior remains committed to coordinating unified annual events under a single slogan in partnership with fellow GCC member states. These initiatives aim to enhance public awareness of traffic safety, underscore the risks associated with distractions and serious violations, and reinforce adherence to traffic laws and road safety protocols.
