The joint committee between the UAE and KSA ministries of interior held its sixth meeting on Monday at Saif al Shaafar hall, at the ministry to enhance cooperation in security.
The UAE delegation is presided by Major General Khalifa Hareb al Khaili, MoI undersecretary, and the KSA delegation is presided by HE Dr. Hicham bin Abdul Rahman al Fallah, KSA MoI undersecretary.
In his speech at the opening session, Major General Al Khaili welcomed the guests in their second country and conveyed to the Saudi delegation the greetings of Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and his best wishes for success. He said that this meeting comes as a true translation of the sincere brotherly relations between the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Hisham bin Abdul Rahman Al-Falih, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, thanked and appreciated the officials of the Ministry of Interior in the United Arab Emirates
The UAE ministry of interior signed with its Saudi counterpart a draft MoU on the protection of data and information shared in joint security projects aiming to enhance cooperation in the implementation of joint projects and initiatives, to ensure the protection of shared data and information.
The MoU was signed by Major General Hareb Khalifa al Khaili, MoI undersecretary and HE Dr. Hicham bin Abdul Rahman al Fallah, KSA MoI undersecretary.
The signing was at the MoI headquarters, on the margin of the 6th joint UAE – KSA security meeting held in between the countries ministries of interior.
