The Center of Excellence a joint venture between the UAE Ministry of Interior and its counterpart in France organized a two-day virtual workshop that addressed ways to combat money laundering and related crimes, the course emphasized the importance of cross-border cooperation in controlling such crimes and reducing their sources of financing.
A number of international specialists spoke at this training workshop and addressed topics related to the foundations of investigation and follow-up related to money laundering and the pursuit of financing sources and their connection to organized crime.
These ongoing lectures come with international cooperation from governments, institutions and organizations as part of efforts to enhance the capabilities of cadres working in law enforcement forces in the areas of combating crime by presenting advanced experiences and practices during training workshops, studying realistic cases, and exchanging experiences and knowledge on a number of issues related to the work of law enforcement forces around the world. .
The Center of Excellence is a training platform under the umbrella of the International Security Alliance and aims to contribute to police development in the region in partnership with France and raise national and regional capabilities.

وتحدث في هذه الورشة التدريبية عدد من المختصين الدوليين تناولوا مواضيع تتعلق بأسس التحقيق والمتابعة المتعلقة بغسل الأموال وملاحقة مصادر التمويل وارتباطها بالجريمة المنظمة .
وتأتي هذه المحاضرات المتواصلة بتعاون دولي من حكومات ومؤسسات ومنظمات ضمن جهود تعزيز قدرات الكوادر العاملة في قوى إنفاذ القانون في مجالات مكافحة الجريمة من خلال عرض تجارب وممارسات متقدمة خلال ورش تدريبية ودراسة حالات واقعية وتبادل الخبرات والمعارف في عدد من القضايا المتعلقة بعمل قوى إنفاذ القانون حول العالم.
ويعد مركز التميز منصة تدريب تحت مظلة التحالف الأمني الدولي ويهدف للإسهام في التطوير الشرطي في المنطقة بالشراكة مع فرنسا ورفع القدرات الوطنية والإقليمية.
