Kuwaiti Delegation Briefed on Best Practices at MOI

The Ministry of Interior hosted a delegation from the state of Kuwait for an official two-day visit aimed at exploring best security practices and learning about key future projects and modern systems implemented by the Ministry.
This visit was part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries, and to exchange experiences and practical expertise to enhance security performance in the security and police sectors. The delegation began its visit at the Ministry’s central operations room, where they were briefed on the latest technologies and smart systems, proactive tasks, public services, and the mechanism for receiving and managing various reports around the clock.
This briefing was conducted under the supervision of a distinguished national staff known for their high ability and efficiency. The delegation also visited the Ministry of Interior’s Center for Child Protection, where they received a brief explanation about the programs, initiatives, and national efforts undertaken by the Center to enhance child protection and maintain family stability. They also learned about the Centre’s smart system for receiving various reports of violence against children.
At the General Directorate of Happiness, the delegation was informed about the strategic plans, programs, and initiatives supporting the National Program for Happiness and Wellbeing in the work environment. These initiatives are directed at workers, associates, and customers from all segments of the public and are implemented throughout the year. During their ongoing tour, the delegation visited the Ministry of Interior’s Innovation Center, where they received an explanation about the center’s contents and its development efforts in adopting innovations in the institutional work environment. They also toured the manufacturing innovation laboratory, which includes modern devices, equipment, mechanisms, and innovative projects that enhance security efforts. The delegation then stopped at the Smart Security Support Operations Room of the General Directorate of Security Support, where they learned about the systems used, modern equipment, technical follow-up methods, and innovative technologies and smart police systems employed in support, analysis, and providing vital data. At the conclusion of the visit, a joint coordination meeting was held between the Kuwaiti delegation and the International Criminal Police Department in the meeting room of the Security Support Operations Room. The two sides discussed prospects for cooperation and the strategic security partnership between the two countries, reviewed international and regional topics of common interest, and explored methods for combating organized and cross-border crimes. They also discussed unifying security efforts to create a cohesive system that meets the needs of GCC societies and consolidates security and stability.
Commemorative shields were exchanged, and the Kuwaiti delegation expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome. They praised the distinguished efforts of the UAE Ministry of Interior in terms of progress, development, and proactivity in security fields, and hoped for further coordination, cooperation, and unified efforts to enhance and support security and stability in their societies.
