Civil Defense Chief Attends Graduation Ceremony of 8th and 9th Class of Vocational Qualification Course
Major General Dr. Jassim Mohamed Al Marzouqi, Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior, attended the graduation ceremony of 227 recruits from the eighth and ninth classes of the vocational qualification course at the Civil Defense Academy. The course encompassed both theoretical and practical training in firefighting, rescue operations, hazardous materials handling, and disaster response. Recruits received intensive instruction on managing fires caused by gas leaks, pipe explosions, car fires, and incidents in confined spaces. The graduates gained essential skills to respond swiftly to emergencies and mitigate the impacts of fires and accidents, adhering to the highest international standards.
The Commander-in-Chief congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of the course, commending their dedication to safeguarding lives and property. He emphasized the importance of such training in enhancing the capabilities of personnel and equipping them with the skills needed to effectively manage disasters and ensure top-level prevention and safety.
