Maj. Gen. Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Resources and Support Services, welcomed Dr. Ghaleb Al-Hadrami Al-Buraiki, Acting Director of the United Arab Emirates University, and his accompanying delegation. Their visit to the Ministry of Interior comes to learn about the Ministry's pioneering experience in knowledge transfer, and to exchange experiences and information in this field.

This visit comes as part of the efforts made to step up joint cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the United Arab Emirates University and ways to exchange experiences between the two sides in the educational and training fields.

Maj. Gen. Al Shamsi accompanied Dr. Al-Buraiki and his delegation on a visit to the Ministry of Interior Innovation Lab, and was briefed on the Ministry of Interior’s innovation system, the creativity and innovation strategy, and the innovative strategic pillars based on providing the appropriate environment for creativity. He listened to a brief explanation about what the Lab provides, including support for efforts to adopt innovation in government work and providing an incubating environment for innovators, project owners and innovative ideas. The Lab adopts, empowers and upgrades their capabilities to serve and develop police work.

After that, the delegation visited the Office of Project Management and Shared Services in the General Diractorate of Strategy and Performance Development. A meeting was held in the presence of Brig. Gen. Dr. Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development in the Ministry, directors of departments, Dr. Ghaleb Al-Hadrami Al-Buraiki and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, a brief presentation was made on a number of fields, including project management and strategy, and human resources and smart applications in the Ministry of Interior.
