UAE Police team wins AJP Tour in Singapore
The UAE Police team emerged as the top contender in the Singapore Championship, organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation. This prestigious event saw widespread international participation, with over 25 advanced nations, including Brazil, China, the United States, Russia, France, and Australia, along with the host country, Singapore.
Representing both men and women, the UAE Police team secured first place overall, amassing an impressive total of 15 gold, 13 silver, and 6 bronze medals. Brigadier Dr. Omar Al Khayal, Director of the Police Sports Federation Department, emphasized that this victory underscores the UAE Police's leadership and excellence across all domains.
He credited this success to the unwavering support of the nation's wise leadership, noting that the team's professionalism and efficiency are key factors in their outstanding performance in international competitions.
He further highlighted the ongoing efforts to enhance the skills, capabilities, and physical fitness of police personnel, recognizing sports as a vital component of their overall preparedness.
