Coinciding with the start of the new academic year and under the directives of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fund, The MOI SOCIAL SECURITY FUND (Fazaa) implemented a community initiative by distributing 10,000 school bags along with stationary supplies.
Colonel Ahmed Bu Haroun, Director General of the MOI Social Security Fund (Fazaa), stressed that this initiative aims to promote the awareness of social responsibility, solidarity, human cohesion and charitable work, It works in a manner that embodies the meanings of cooperation and the spirit of giving for the sake of humanity and serving the local community in all fields.
He added that the MOI Social Security Fund is keen to implement this initiative on an annual basis as part of its community initiatives, Colonel Ahmed Bu Haroun explained that the beneficiaries of this initiative are the children of retired people in the Ministry of Interior, along with needy families, in addition to the children of widows who are included in the pension fund, and Fazaa members besides students enrolled in the Zayed Higher Foundation for Humanitarian Care.
The Ministry of Interior seeks, through the implementation of community initiatives, to stimulate the spirit of initiative towards charitable work, in a manner that translates the adherence of the people of the Emirates to the principles and values associated with national identity, and in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Interior in providing the best services and promoting social responsibility.
