The Police Sports Union wins the “UAE Award for Community Sports Events”

The Police Sports Union has won the UAE Award for Community Sports Events in the category of Best Community Sports Initiative.The award was presented by His Excellency Ghanem Mubarak Al-Hajri, Director General of the General Authority of Sports, to His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Omar Mohammed Al-Khayal, Director of the Police Sports Union, during a ceremony held at the Authority’s headquarters in Dubai to honor the winners. His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Omar Mohammed Al-Khayal expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership of the Ministry of Interior for its unlimited support and continuous guidance in promoting sports among all members of society, which led to this achievement. He emphasized that this places further responsibility on the union to continue initiatives and programs that support the sports sector and athletes, affirming that the Police Sports Union will continue to innovate in its programs and initiatives to promote sports values and culture, build a sustainable healthy sports community, and improve the quality of life. Al-Khayal also thanked the General Authority of Sports for launching this inspiring initiative, which motivates sports entities in both the public and private sectors to focus on sports activities according to the best practices and encourages community members to engage in sports and physical activities.
