2024 Annual Shooting Championship Concludes at Special Security Forces Command
The Special Security Forces Command successfully organized the "2024 Annual Shooting Championship," which featured several competitive events, including the Tactical Motor Skills Shooting Competition for Officers and Men, Police Operations Shooting (Rifle), Police Operations Shooting, First Responder Shooting, and the Speed Challenge Shooting - Drop Plates. Held at the command's shooting ranges, the championship saw participation from four teams representing various departments within the command, along with teams from the Punitive and Correctional Institution Administration – Northern Emirates and the Explosives and Weapons Directorate, totaling six teams. In the final results, the Third Security Unit secured the championship shield. Captain Asim Ali Al Naqbi from the Third Security Unit claimed first place in the Tactical Motor Skills Shooting Competition (Individual Officers), while Major Saleh Abdul Karim Al Beloushi from the Punitive and Correctional Institution Administration – Northern Emirates took second place.
In the Tactical Motor Skills Shooting Competition (Individual Men), Corporal Saif Matar Al Tenaiji from the Second Security Unit won first place, with Assistant Khamis Rashid Al Zayoudi from the Third Security Unit securing second place. For the Tactical Motor Skills Shooting Competition (Officers Teams), the Third Security Unit took first place, with the First Security Unit in second. In the Tactical Motor Skills Shooting Competition (Men Teams), the Third Security Unit won first place, followed by the Second Security Unit.
In the Police Operations Rifle Shooting Competition (Individual), Warrant Officer Nasser Obaid Al Kaabi from the Second Security Unit claimed first place, while Corporal First Rashid Mohammed Sultan from the Third Security Unit took second. In the Police Operations Rifle Shooting Competition (Teams), the Second Security Unit came in first with a total of 630 points, while the Third Security Unit followed with 582 points. The First Responder Shooting Competition (Teams) saw the Third Security Unit win first place, with the Second Security Unit in second. Finally, in the Speed Challenge and Plate Drop Shooting Competition (Teams), the Second Security Unit secured first place, with the Third Security Unit coming in second.
