MOI Expands Participation in World Space Week
In celebration of World Space Week, the Ministry of Interior, through its Public Relations and Protocol Department, organized a specialized dialogue session titled Artificial Intelligence and Space Data: Future Tools for Institutional Performance at its headquarters. The session featured experts from Space24, the Middle East’s leading company specializing in space technology integrated with artificial intelligence.
The session was attended by Major General Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior, along with a number of senior officers, officials, Ministry personnel, and Police College students
The session explored various topics related to the integration of artificial intelligence with space data analysis and its impact on institutional performance. Speakers discussed the broad concept of AI and its crucial role in supporting institutional processes, such as data analysis, resource management, public service delivery, and enhancing production efficiency. They highlighted how AI-driven insights help in decision-making for strategic planning and predicting potential risks.
Additionally, the experts showcased examples of modern applications and technologies using satellite data, applied across sectors like security, planning, and agriculture. The session also delved into future projects in space-based AI systems, aiming to provide innovative solutions to improve service efficiency, advance institutional workflows, and enhance the ability to analyze current situations and predict future trends, ensuring business sustainability and continuity.
