Fujairah Civil Defense Hosts 2024 Kayak Championship on Fujairah Beaches
The Fujairah Civil Defense hosted the Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defense Kayak Championship (2024), held on the picturesque beaches of Fujairah. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 14 teams representing various sectors and regional departments of Civil Defense across the UAE. The championship unfolded in a vibrant atmosphere, showcasing a strong sense of teamwork and competitive spirit among the participating teams.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Fujairah International Marine Sports Club, Al-Qarsh Marine Sports Company, and the representative office of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in Fujairah, ensuring public safety and security throughout the championship. In the individual competitions, the Fujairah Civil Defense Department emerged victorious, taking first place. The General Directorate of Civil Defense Dubai Team (B) secured second place, while Dubai Team (A) finished in third. In the team competitions, the Dubai Civil Defense topped the standings to win first place, followed by the Fujairah Civil Defense in second, and the Umm Al Quwain Civil Defense in third place. At the end of the championship, Brigadier Ali Obaid Al Tenaiji, Director of the Fujairah Civil Defense Administration, expressed his deep gratitude to all participants, organizers, and sponsors for their contributions to the event’s success. Brigadier Al Tenaiji highlighted that these achievements were the outcome of ongoing efforts and strong cooperation among all involved parties. He wished everyone continued success in future championships and emphasized that the event not only provided a platform for showcasing athletic skills but also strengthened the bonds of cooperation and friendship among Civil Defense personnel across various departments.
