Commander-in-Chief’s Specialized Fitness and Challenge Championship 2024 Concludes with Dubai Team Victorious
The General Command of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior wrapped up the Commander-in-Chief’s Specialized Fitness and Challenge Championship 2024 held at Dubai’s Raptor Gym. Forty-eight competitors from various regional sectors and general departments across the Civil Defense force participated, all aiming to enhance their physical capabilities, increase fitness, and elevate readiness levels. This championship aimed to equip firefighters with critical skills, endurance, and flexibility to perform their roles more effectively. The event was attended by Major General Jamal bin Aadhd Al Muhairi, Assistant Director General for Resources and Support Services at the Dubai Civil Defense Directorate, Brigadier Salem Mohammed Al Naqbi, Director General of Resources and Support Services at the Civil Defense Command, and several other officers. The championship included a series of CrossFit challenges where participants tested their strength, endurance, and agility. In the final results, the Dubai Civil Defense General Administration team secured first place, earning the championship shield. The Fujairah Civil Defense team placed second, followed by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority team in third. Trophies and shields were awarded to the winning teams, with organizers and participants also honored for their contributions to the event.
