The Child Protection Center at the Ministry of Interior participated in a virtual workshop via video conference technology titled "Information Security" in cooperation and partnership with the Ministry of Education, as part of "My Security" Initiative. The initiative was launched by the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior with the aim of spreading security culture among schools students all over the country.
Around 240 primary students took part in the workshop, in which they were made aware of the dangers they may be exposed to online, methods of prevention and protection, and how to deal with online abuse. Participating students were told how to contact the Ministry of Interior through the smart system for child protection, which includes hotline 116111, Hemayati App and the center's website.
