The UAE, with the vision of its wise leadership, is making achievements on all levels. The UAE is advancing on all global competitiveness indicators. This calls for more effort in order to enhance achievements and maintain a high reputation of a State globally and that the UAE is one of the best countries in the world in safety and security.

Today we celebrate this unified Gulf Traffic Week, which is an opportunity to build on what has been achieved and strengthen efforts for more achievements, especially in the areas of road security and the safety of its users.

We are confident in the awareness and commitment of the honorable public and their keenness on traffic safety, but it is a call from us for greater commitment and application of instructions, guidelines and traffic laws, which were found to protect society, people and property, calling for concerted efforts, work and complementary effort between all parties concerned with road safety, in order to achieve goals and vision of the Emirates.

These continuous and integrated efforts between all institutions of society, from the public and private sectors, will lead us to achieve the vision of the UAE, so that the country will be the best country in the world in terms of safety and security.
