The Ramadan Forum for Drug Prevention has officially launched in Fujairah, organized by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Federal Drug Control, and hosted by Fujairah Police General HQs in cooperation with the State Anti-Narcotics Council. The event is being held across various public locations in Fujairah under the slogan: You are the youth of tomorrow With you, our society is safe.

The forum, running until March 16, 2025, was inaugurated in the presence of Major General Ahmed Mohammed Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, Brigadier Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director General of Federal Drug Control at the Ministry of Interior, along with several officers from the Ministry and Fujairah Police General HQs.

This initiative aims to raise public awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and effective prevention strategies, promote community engagement, emphasize the critical role of families, and equip children with positive citizenship values. It also seeks to develop their behavioral, psychological, health, and physical skills while spreading nationwide awareness of the risks associated with narcotic and psychotropic substances, ensuring that knowledge reaches the widest possible audience.

The program features a diverse range of activities, including awareness lectures, discussion panels, the Drug Prevention Council, the Future Leaders Council, the Preventive Drawing Initiative for children and families, psychological and social counseling sessions, police dog demonstrations, competitions, and other educational programs designed to instill preventive awareness and responsible behavior.
