On the Sidelines of the World Police Summit, MOI Meetings Promote International Dialogue and Cooperation
The World Police Summit, convened in Dubai, served as a platform for the Ministry of Interior to hold a series of high-level meetings with senior international police officials and security leaders participating in the event.
Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, met with Major General Dr. Franz Ruff, Commander-in-Chief of Public Security in the Republic of Austria. During the meeting, the two sides officially launched the Strategic Police Dialogue between their respective nations an initiative aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation in the field of law enforcement and advancing shared interests in policing to the mutual benefit of both countries.
In a separate engagement, Al Khaili also met with H.E. Wilson Lim, Chief Executive Officer of the Home Team Academy in the Republic of Singapore. The discussions focused on enhancing frameworks for international collaboration in security and policing and strengthening efforts to promote public safety at the community level.
In another meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior held discussions with H.E. Gilles Michaud, Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security at the UN. The meeting addressed avenues for strengthening cooperation and joint efforts to advance global and community security, with a focus on fostering coordinated international action and knowledge exchange in the field of safety and law enforcement.
