MOI Child Protection Center launches new awareness-raising initiative titled "Safe School Year"

The Ministry of Interior, through its Child Protection Center, has launched an educational initiative titled "Safe School Year," coinciding with the beginning of the new school year. This initiative is designed to enhance public safety and community protection for children by fostering correct behaviors and values, as well as raising proactive security awareness. As part of the Ministry's crime prevention strategy, the initiative features a comprehensive awareness program that includes lectures and workshops. These are aimed at students, parents, educators, and school administrative staff, focusing on critical issues such as cybercrimes, bullying, extortion, and online abuse. Additionally, the program will educate participants on the Child Rights Law and guide them on how to report abuse using the Ministry's smart reporting system.

This system provides multiple reporting channels, including the hotline (116111), the Hamayati mobile application, and online reporting through the Ministry of Interior's Child Protection Center website.
