MOI and NCEMA Step Up Efforts and Discuss National Readiness Framework Across the UAE
The General Directorate of Federal Central Operations at the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, organized an introductory workshop on the "General Framework for National Readiness and Preparedness." The event took place at the Union Hall of the Police College in Abu Dhabi and saw participation from representatives of general police commands across the country, as well as officials from the Ministry’s various departments and sectors, and those concerned with the authority.
The workshop focused on streamlining efforts and aligning concepts for coordinated action between national authorities, aiming to achieve strategic objectives in emergency and crisis management. Discussions centered around creating a unified framework for preparedness plans to handle a range of potential crises. In addition, the participants explored proactive strategies and immediate responses to various emergencies, evaluated performance and impact indicators, and addressed key challenges.
The discussions also emphasized identifying difficulties and formulating alternative solutions, while promoting best practices. These efforts aim to ensure long-term security, safeguard societal stability, enhance business continuity, and protect national achievements.
