MOI and Abu Dhabi Police organize a council on international and national mechanisms to protect the rights of special groups

The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Office of the Culture of Respect for Law, in cooperation with the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, organized a council entitled "International and National Mechanisms to Protect the Rights of Special Groups" to introduce these mechanisms, strategies and policies that aim to protect and safeguard society.

The council was addressed by Major Amna Juma Al Ketbi and Lieutenant Abdullah Mohammed Al Shamsi from the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Interior, and was moderated by First Assistant Issa Al Jadidi from the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police.

The speakers touched on a number of local laws and international agreements related to the protection of special groups, which protect their rights, enable them to participate effectively in society, provide them with all means to protect them, secure a decent living, and appreciate their talents and capabilities to develop them.
