Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior met today Lt. General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior of Bahrain.

The two sides reviewed the brotherly relations between the two countries, which are getting stronger and more established during the era of the two wise leaderships of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan , and his brother, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain During the meeting, a number of issues of common concern were discussed. And ways to enhance cooperation in the security, police and information fields, and exchange experiences, in a way that serves common interests and achieves sustainable security and stability in the region.

The meeting was attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services,and several officers of the Ministries of Interior in the UAE and Bahrain.
