MOI Takes Part in 48th Conference of Arab Police and Security Chiefs
The Ministry of Interior, represented by a delegation led by His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, participated in the 48th Conference of Arab Police and Security Chiefs. The conference, held in the Tunisian capital with broad Arab participation, focused on discussions to enhance regional security.
Hosted at the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, the event brought together senior security officials from various Arab nations, as well as representatives from the League of Arab States and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
International organizations also took part, including INTERPOL, the Middle East and North Africa Counter-Terrorism Project, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, the European Law Enforcement Agency, and the European Commission’s Counter-Terrorism and Criminal Justice Project.
Key topics discussed included combating electronic financial fraud, reviewing recommendations from various security sector conferences and committee meetings held throughout the year, and showcasing distinguished security practices from member states.
