MOI Launches "Together Towards a Safe Winter" Campaign

The Ministry of Interior's Child Protection Center has rolled out its inaugural annual campaign for 2025, themed "Together Towards a Safe Winter." The campaign aims to raise awareness, promote safety culture, and emphasize child protection in relation to various winter activities and hobbies commonly practiced by children during this season.

The campaign's primary objectives include enhancing a culture of child safety and protection, raising awareness about responsible internet use, highlighting the dangers of riding bicycles in non-designated areas, addressing the risks associated with children hanging out of vehicle windows, and promoting awareness of child rights laws and reporting channels.

Key focus areas of the campaign also include educating on safe practices in parks, ensuring winter environments remain safe for children, and reinforcing protection against risks, such as falls from windows. The initiative includes a series of awareness materials published in multiple languages across social media platforms, as well as field-based activities, lectures, and educational workshops in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and universities.
