MOI Honors Outstanding Students in Leadership Courses
HE Major General Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior, attended a ceremony held at the Ministry’s courtyard to honor outstanding officers from the leadership courses (middle/first) conducted during the second half of 2024. These courses were organized at the Institute of Police and Technical Sciences and the Leadership Development Center, in collaboration with Rabdan Academy and the Afaq Center for Leadership Development.
During the ceremony, Al Shamsi met with the honorees, who numbered approximately 10 officers, in the presence of Brigadier Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali, Director General of the General Directorate of Competency Development, and Colonel Dr. Fahad Al Hosani, Director of the Institute of Police and Technical Sciences. He congratulated the honorees, commending their dedication and exceptional performance throughout the training program. He encouraged them to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired during the course to their professional roles, underscoring the Ministry’s commitment to recognizing outstanding individuals and motivating them to strive for further excellence, leadership, and development in security and military work.
Major General Al Shamsi also extended his gratitude to everyone involved in the training program, highlighting the importance of continuing the development process to enhance the performance of national cadres. He emphasized the need to support them with available resources and opportunities, ensuring the adoption of best practices and the highest standards. This, he noted, is essential to keeping pace with modern advancements, maintaining operational excellence, institutional leadership, and achieving the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior.
