MOI Hosts ‘Design Your Service’ Workshops to Enhance Government Services

The UAE Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Happiness, conducted week-long Design Your Service workshops in Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. These workshops aim to achieve the Zero Government Bureaucracy initiative’s objectives by involving customers in the modernization process and developing proactive services that anticipate future challenges.

Participants included specialized officers from the Ministry of Interior, police general HQs across the country, members of the Future Services Diploma Program, frontline employees from customer happiness centers, and partners from government and private sectors.

The workshops employed a fieldwork approach, involving the study, visitation, and analysis of service delivery centers. Discussions focused on developing these centers in line with the UAE’s vision for the Zero Government Bureaucracy program, which has successfully streamlined services by curtailing unnecessary procedures, facilitating customer interactions, and enhancing the quality of life for the Emirati community.
