UAE and Omani MOI discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation

A bilateral meeting between the delegations of the Ministry of Interior of the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman discussed ways to enhance the existing cooperation between the two nations in the policing and security fields.

The UAE delegation to the meeting, which was held in Abu Dhabi, was headed by Brig. Gen. Engineer Hussain Al Harthy, Director General of Smart Services and Digital Security at the Ministry of Interior. The Omani delegation was headed by Brig. Nasser bin Salem Al Hossani, Director General of Communications at the Royal Oman Police.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues that help step up coordination between the two countries, including the bilateral traffic system linkage project between as part of a GCC technical project that enhances joint cooperative action between the GCC states.

These regular bilateral meetings between the Ministries of Interior of the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman come as part of continuous efforts to advance bilateral relations in order to achieve the ambition and aspirations of the leadership of the two nations and the interests of the peoples of the GCC states.
