Meeting of the National Committee for Updating the School Environment Guide for Drug Prevention

The Ministry of Interior hosted the second meeting of the National Committee for Updating Drug Prevention, which was issued by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, and was a source of awareness and enhancing knowledge and capabilities in confronting the fight against drugs and psychotropic substances, and the methods and reasons for preventing them.

The meeting discussed a number of topics related to the role of the committee in reviewing and updating the guide, and developing various in-person and interactive training and educational courses and workshops via the electronic training platform, and making them available to the education community by introducing the guide for drug prevention in the school environment, including awareness of the types of narcotic substances, their effects and indicators of abuse, and how to conduct early intervention to protect the student.
