The Commander-in-Chief Tug of War Championship (2024), hosted by the General Directorate of Civil Defense - Ras Al Khaimah and organized by the General Command of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior, showcased the prowess of teams representing regional sectors and Various Civil Defense departments at the state level.

In an atmosphere brimming with excitement and enthusiasm, participants engaged in spirited competition, demonstrating their physical strength and peak fitness. The Civil Defense Department - Ras Al Khaimah emerged as the victor, with the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority securing the second place and the General Civil Defense - Fujairah clinching third.

Throughout the tournament, the audience enjoyed distinguished musical performances by the military band, culminating in a ceremony to crown the winners. Colonel Salem Rashid Al Shaer, Director of the Civil Defense Department - Ras Al Khaimah, alongside other officers, presided over the awards presentation, where cups and medals were bestowed upon the deserving teams.
