Investigators' Training Workshops Wrap Up with Key Insights
The first half of 2025 saw the conclusion of a series of training workshops for investigators, culminating in six virtual working sessions. These sessions were organized by the General Directorate of Security Support, represented by the Investigation Organization Department, in coordination with police leaderships across the state and relevant specialized departments within the ministry.
Held under the "Legal and Procedural Culture in the Evidence Collection Phase" initiative, launched by the Investigation Organization Department, the workshops aimed to refine investigative processes, strengthen the criminal and police investigation framework, and promote best practices. They also served as a platform for exchanging expertise and practical experiences while enhancing investigators' skills to elevate their efficiency and professional competence.
Throughout the sessions, participants explored key areas of security operations, police and criminal investigations, and the legal protocols governing various reports and cases. Discussions focused on gathering evidence, adhering to procedural and legal standards, and reinforcing ethical conduct in police work.
The workshops covered six specialized themes. The Security Information Department examined the "Data and Information Protection Policy" and the "Witness and Party Protection Policy." The Case Affairs Department addressed "Preservation Orders and Acquittal Rulings and Their Impact on Evidence Collection Records." The Investigation Organization Department discussed "Core Principles of Evidence Collection and Related Administrative and Legal Procedures." The Air Support Department shared insights on "The Role of Drones in Investigative Operations," while the Human Rights Department focused on "Professional Conduct and Ethics in Police Work."
