Virtual Workshop on “The Role of Innovation in Enhancing Security and Wellbeing”

Represented by the General Directorate of Relations and Protocol, the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Dar Al-Ilm Institute for Education and Training operating under the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai hosted a virtual workshop titled The Role of Innovation in Enhancing Security and Wellbeing through Organizing Conferences and Events. The workshop was held as part of UAE Innovation Month 2025.

Delivered by internationally accredited lecturer Dr. John Saad Najib, the session explored key themes, including the concept of security innovation, the impact of innovation on wellbeing , and groundbreaking security strategies for managing conferences and events. A significant focus was also placed on cybersecurity as a core component of the security framework in event management.

Dr. John Saad underscored the critical role of innovation in the security sector, emphasizing that achieving the highest security standards requires more than just technological advancements. He highlighted the importance of coordinated, adaptable strategies to address the growing security challenges associated with large-scale events and conferences.

The session also showcased a range of cutting-edge security solutions, reinforcing that innovation is not confined to new technologies and products but also encompasses forward-thinking methodologies that enhance both physical and digital security. Such advancements ultimately contribute to strengthening public safety and improving overall quality of life in society.
