Ramadan Forum for Drug Prevention Engages the Community
The Ramadan Forum for Drug Prevention continues to draw active community engagement through its diverse activities at Umbrella Beach in Fujairah. The forum features discussions led by specialists, experts, religious scholars, and community leaders, with sessions including lectures, the Drug Control Council, and the Consultation Corner. This initiative aligns with the objectives of the Year of Community, fostering inclusive programs and initiatives that cater to all societal segments.
Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior represented by the General Directorate of Federal Drug Control Council, and the Fujairah Police’s Drug Control Department, the forum offers interactive activities and open discussions. It also provides a platform for family consultations focused on strengthening child protection and wellbeing.
Religious scholars from the President’s Guests Program delivered insightful lectures, offering religious guidance and emphasizing Islamic and humanitarian values as essential safeguards against drugs and psychotropic substances.
Meanwhile, other activities continue with the participation of Ministry of Interior specialists and experts, addressing the role of families and community institutions in raising awareness and promoting behaviors that help protect youth and adolescents from the dangers of substance abuse.
