Saif bin Zayed recognizes the doctors and supporters of the Waterfalls Global initiative

H.H. Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, recognized several supporters of the Waterfalls global initiative who have exceptionally supported the objectives of this continuous education program launched from the UAE to the world by the Rewarding Behaviour Department, at the Ministry of Possibilities, in cooperation with INDEX Holding, as a pioneering initiative that supports and recognizes front-liners efforts which resulted in elevating healthcare and medical sectors around the world during the pandemic.

His Highness recognized 197 doctors for their excellent efforts and participation in delivering specialized lectures as part of the initiative thus contributing to the success and support of this humanitarian program that aims to provide focused education and training, which empowers a million people from the medical field through education sessions delivered by internationally recognized entities and organizations in line with the current circumstances regarding the pandemic.

The honorable personalities have contributed exceptionally to the success of the global Waterfalls initiative and the delivery of its humanitarian message to the world by broadcasting it through forums, and regional summits. They also have taken part in nominating doctors and lecturers with advanced experience, in providing these specialized lectures.

It is noteworthy that the global Waterfalls initiative came in accordance with the vision of the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates and from a global perspective, as it directed all health sector workers around the world to provide academic support and free specialized training through lectures and workshops. It is recorded that 1 million, 299 thousand and 667 healthcare specialists have benefited from this initiative which was presented by more than 353 specialists through 568 lectures.

The academic materials and content presented in the Waterfalls initiative were approved by 6 prestigious scientific institutions, with the participation of more than 41 international associations, societies, and academics. The initiative also took part in (17) specialized medical conferences and exhibitions around the world and included 15 biomedical sectors.
