Lecture on UAE's Ongoing Efforts to Empower Women on International Women's Day
The Ministry of Interior, through the Human Rights Department and in collaboration with the Juvenile Care Center, hosted a virtual lecture in celebration of International Women's Day.
Her Excellency Khadija Mohammed Al Ajil Al Tenaiji, Director General of the Aman Center for Women and Children, highlighted the UAE's continuous efforts and initiatives aimed at empowering women. These achievements are sustained through the unwavering support and encouragement of the nation's wise leadership.
During the lecture, Al Tenaiji stressed the importance of safeguarding these accomplishments by reinforcing efforts to support women and girls, ensuring a nurturing environment that enables their progress and solidifies the UAE’s global competitiveness. The country’s top ranking in the Women's Respect Index underscores its exceptional ability to compete and achieve, positioning it as a model of ambition and generosity.
She also discussed the critical role of specialized centers dedicated to women and girls, which provide a safe space for their growth, skill development, and enhanced community participation.
