Seventh Ramadan Police College Commander’s Championship Wraps Up
The seventh edition of the Ramadan Police College Commander’s Championship came to a close at the Sports Field of the Police College headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by Brigadier Walid Salem Al Shamsi, Commander of the Police College, alongside department heads and faculty members.
Over two weeks, Police College students and staff engaged in a range of competitive sports, including volleyball, football, tug-of-war, a fitness championship, a challenge, and walking and running events. Brigadier Al Shamsi congratulated the winners, commending the participants’ outstanding performances and the spirit of competition and determination that characterized the championship. He emphasized the importance of striving for excellence, noting that such events play a key role in fostering teamwork, enhancing physical fitness, and developing athletic skills among Police College members.
Meanwhile, the Police College’s Relations and Guidance Department concluded the Holy Quran Award Competition, which featured various categories, including voice recitation and Quran memorization. The winners were honored in recognition of their dedication and achievements.
