Saif bin Zayed Honors Winners of the 11th Holy Quran Tahbeer and its Science Award (Community Year)
Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, honored the winners of the 11th Holy Quran Tahbeer and its Science Award (Community Year) along with the supporting entities, and institutional partners for their human contributes . On the sidelines of the ceremony, His Highness also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat and the Tahbeer Award for the Holy Quran and its Sciences, reinforcing cooperation, partnership, and integrated efforts among national institutions.

The Board of Trustees of the Foundation also included His Excellency Ahmed Al Tazi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the UAE; His Excellency Engineer Fahad Saeed Al Menhali, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the UAE; Mohammed Sarhal, Political Affairs Advisor at the Embassy of Indonesia; His Excellency Counselor Saif Al Shafar; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Major General Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services; Major General Abdulaziz Maktoum Al Sharifi, Director General of Preventive Security at the Ministry of Interior; His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Subaian Al Tunaiji, Director General of the Award; as well as a number of community figures, invited guests, and the families of the award winners.
Honoring Individuals and Entities Supporting the Award: The Loyalty Recitation Award and the Institutional Recitation Award
During the ceremony, His Highness honored a number of individuals and entities who have supported the noble cause of the award and contributed to its success. Among those honored was the family of the late Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan. His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pride of the Nation Office, received the Loyalty Recitation Award. In a generous gesture, His Highness directed the ceremony’s sponsor to print 1,000 copies of the Holy Quran as an endowment for the late Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, which were distributed to attendees.
His Highness also honored the Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation with the Institutional Recitation Award, received by His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Additionally, His Highness honored the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center with the Tahbeer Award for Institutions, as well as the Noor Dubai Foundation, received by His Excellency Awad Sagheer Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Department and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.
Tahbeer Tolerance Award
In recognition of his significant efforts in promoting the values of tolerance, love, and compassion in the Russian Federation, His Highness honored His Eminence Mufti Sheikh Rawi Ainuddin, President of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Moscow International Holy Quran Award, with the Tahbeer Tolerance Award.
Memorandum of Understanding Strengthens Integrated Work to Unleash Talents
On the sidelines of the ceremony, honoring the winners of the Tahbeer Award for the Holy Quran and its Sciences, Lieutenant General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Unleashing Talents between the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat and the Holy Quran Tahbeer and its Science Award. This MoU seeks to strengthen strategic partnerships between the two entities, aiming to achieve common goals and enhance collaboration among national institutions.
Under the MoU, the Tahbeer Talents Program will be launched, offering an optimal investment in the past and future winners of the Holy Quran Tahbeer and its Science Award. It is designed based on national, religious, social, cultural, and scientific considerations, enabling a meaningful contribution to society.
The MoU was signed by His Excellency Ahmed Rashid Al Neyadi, Director General of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Subaian Al Tunaiji, Director General of the Holy Quran Tahbeer and its Science Award.
This agreement also aims to further promote the values and noble objectives of the award across its various categories, develop talent, and enhance the positive spiritual impact of the award on society. It will provide the award with specialized judges for Quranic competitions and prepare national talents for leadership roles in Quran-related activities. Additionally, the program will offer educational and training courses to nurture Tahbeer talents, grant them official recognition, encourage participation in competitions, and integrate their voices into national broadcasting platforms.
The ceremony commenced with the UAE national anthem, followed by a moving recitation of the Holy Quran by Abdulrahman Abdullah Sayman, one of the winners in the Best Recitation category for citizens. Attendees also watched a short film highlighting the award’s achievements since its inception, as well as another video showcasing the efforts and contributions of the honorees, followed by a speech from the award’s spokesperson.
Wide Participation in the Year of Community Edition from Around the World
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Subaian Al Taniji, Director General of the award, stated that this year’s edition, themed the Year of Community, witnessed record-breaking participation, surpassing all previous editions since 2015. Media interactions exceeded 6.5 million, and the award’s social media followers grew by 45,465, leading to a significant rise in registered participants, reaching 52,849 from more than 103 nationalities.
In the category of Best Memorization - General Category, first place went to Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Kaabi from the UAE, second place to Rashid Saif Ahmed Al Shamsi from the UAE, and third place to Abdullah Ahmed Mohammed Al Darmaki from the UAE.
In the category of Best Memorization - Citizens, first place was awarded to Ali Sultan Al Tunaiji, second place to Saeed Mohammed Al Rumaithi, and third place to Mohammed Abdullah Al Mansouri.
The Best Quranic Performance Award was given to Khalid Saeed Abdullah Al Hosani from the UAE in first place, Salim Ahmed Mohammed Al Balushi from the UAE in second place, and Mohammed Rashid Al Dhaheri from the UAE in third place.
In the Best Quranic Recitation - International Category, the winners were Abdullah Ahmed Hussein from Egypt in first place, Hisham Ibrahim Al Haj from Morocco in second place, and Sami Mahmoud Al Jarrah from Jordan in third place.
The Best Tajweed (Rules of Recitation) Award was won by Amna Saif Al Nuaimi from the UAE in first place, Sara Ibrahim Al Shamsi from the UAE in second place, and Hind Abdullah Al Hamadi from the UAE in third place.
In the category of Best Quranic Sound - National, Ahmed Jassim Al Mazrouei from the UAE secured first place, followed by Fahad Saeed Al Habsi in second place and Mohammed Khalifa Al Hammadi in third place.
The Best Quranic Voice - International Category was awarded to Mohammed Jamal Al Tamimi from Palestine in first place, Omar Mohammed Al Sayed from Egypt in second place, and Anas Khalid Al Rashid from Syria in third place.
In the Youngest Memorizer of the Quran category, the award went to Maryam Khalid Al Nuaimi from the UAE, followed by Fatima Mohammed Al Shehhi in second place and Khalid Saeed Al Rumaithi in third place.
The Best Quranic Presentation Award was secured by Abdullah Ibrahim Al Amiri from the UAE in first place, Abdulrahman Ahmed Al Mazrouei in second place, and Saeed Khalid Al Naqbi in third place.
In the Best Quranic School Award, the first-place winner was Al Furqan School for Quranic Studies, followed by Al Rahma Quranic Center in second place and Al Bayan Quranic Academy in third place.
The winners were honored by His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who commended their dedication and outstanding performances, affirming that the Holy Quran Tahbeer and its Science Award continues to nurture Quranic excellence and inspire future generations.
The event concluded with a collective supplication for blessings upon the UAE’s leadership and people, followed by a closing recitation by one of the winners, leaving the audience with a spiritually uplifting and memorable experience.
