Dubai Islamic Bank Donates AED 6 Million to the Faraj Fund, Securing the Release of 60 Insolvent Inmates
Dubai Islamic Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to philanthropy by donating AED 6,000,000 (six million dirhams) to the Faraj Fund of the Ministry of Interior in support of the Faraj initiative. This generous contribution facilitated the release of 60 financially insolvent inmates and convicts from penal and correctional institutions across the UAE, bringing relief to them and their families in time for Eid al-Fitr.
His Excellency Khalil Dawood Badran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Faraj Fund, expressed deep appreciation for the bank’s continuous support, emphasizing the Fund’s ongoing mission to assist those in financial distress. He highlighted the vital role of partners and donors in sustaining the Fund’s humanitarian efforts.
Dubai Islamic Bank, in turn, reaffirmed its dedication to social responsibility, aligning its charitable endeavors with the vision of the wise leadership.
