The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Supreme Committee for Internal Security, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and in the presence of police commanders, the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, and its strategic partners, confirms its readiness and full preparedness to deal with the expected weather fluctuations during the period from (15) to (17) April. The Ministry indicated that it has taken all proactive measures to support response operations, with the necessary resources and capabilities in the places affected by the situation, as the severity of the impact of the weather condition is expected to be between medium and high in separate areas of the country, in addition to the readiness of plans and business continuity for vital entities, after a comprehensive assessment of the weather situation and its potential effects on the areas concerned. The Ministry of Interior places the safety of society and the protection of lives and properties at the top of its list of priorities, calling on the public to follow precautionary measures, adhere to safety standards and guidelines, and to the directives of the competent authorities, refrain from circulating and spreading rumors, and the importance of obtaining information from official sources in the country. The Supreme Committee will continue to follow developments in the weather situation, in full coordination with strategic partners.
