Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, presided over the Council for Digital Quality of Life meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, with the presence of Her Excellency Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Development and Vice President of the Council. The session was attended by HE Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, along with other dignitaries such as HE Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture and Youth, and HE Engineer Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Hammadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice. During the meeting, 38 indicators were approved to protect UAE society from digital risks and content that does not comply with inherited customs and traditions, with the aim of preserving Emirati values and developing the capabilities and skills of emerging generations in dealing with digital challenges. Quality of life indicators of member entities were also reviewed during the meeting, which supported the competitiveness and leadership of the UAE in digital life, by developing a safer environment online, and educating all segments of society about the importance of adopting positive behaviors in a way that improves the overall quality of digital life.
