Saif bin Zayed Visits “Mother of the Nation” Exhibition in Moscow, Accompanied by Russian Minister of Culture
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, paid a visit to the Mother of the Nation exhibition in Moscow a virtual miniature edition of the exhibition recently held at the UN Headquarters in New York. The exhibition pays tribute to the monumental contributions of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, widely revered as the Mother of the Nation, for her pivotal role in advancing women’s empowerment and championing family development initiatives across the globe.
His Highness was accompanied by Her Excellency Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, as well as several Emirati and Russian dignitaries. During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the initiatives and global projects launched by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima, her forward-looking vision for sustainable development, and her unwavering support for family-focused and women-led initiatives worldwide.
The exhibition, which opened on 21 March and runs through 2 May 2025 at the Museum of Photography in Moscow, offers a compelling glimpse into the vision of the Mother of the Nation. It showcases Her Highness’s wide-ranging initiatives across sectors such as economic development, entrepreneurship, education, political engagement, and emerging technologies. It also highlights her enduring efforts to empower women in culture, sports, and the digital sphere, while celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of Emirati women and the inspirational success stories that continue to resonate both locally and internationally.
