Educational Workshop for MOI Employees on Building Homes for a Lifetime
The General Directorate of Happiness, through the Employee Happiness Department at the Ministry of Interior, organized a specialized educational workshop entitled Building a Home for a Lifetime. Conducted via a remote video conferencing platform, the workshop was directed at Ministry employees with the aim of promoting awareness about the importance of selecting and designing suitable family housing with minimal effort and cost, while also presenting practical solutions to overcome the anticipated challenges throughout the construction journey.
The workshop was delivered by Engineer Abdulrahman Al Hammadi and Lecturer Abdulaziz Al Junaibi, representatives of the Abu Dhabi Government’s Teyaseer Program. They highlighted key considerations for embarking on the home-building and design journey, including meticulous planning, setting clear priorities, and identifying essential residential requirements.
The speakers further elaborated on the pioneering Teyaseer initiative, launched by the Abu Dhabi Government as a complimentary public service to support citizens benefiting from housing loan programs. They explained the procedures for accessing the initiative and taking advantage of its advisory, counseling, and consultancy services, which are provided throughout the entire process up to the handover of the residence, thus helping ensure community members enjoy greater stability and peace of mind.
