MOI Participates in the 16th Arab Conference of Heads of Security Media Agencies in Tunisia
Represented by the Security Media Department of the General Directorate of Security Support, the Ministry of Interior, took part in the 16th Arab Conference of Heads of Security Media Agencies, held at the General Secretariat headquarters in Tunis. The conference was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Koman, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
The event brought together heads and representatives of security media agencies from across the Arab world, in addition to the Arab States Broadcasting Union and the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. The conference aimed to strengthen coordination among Arab security media entities in support of the efforts of security agencies, with a focus on disseminating strategic messages, enhancing public awareness, and leveraging modern technologies to align with ongoing digital transformation.
Participants addressed key topics concerning the role of security media in raising awareness about cybercrimes in the digital age, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in security media. The conference also featured reviews of various Arab countries’ experiences in utilizing media to combat terrorism and curb drug trafficking.
