The Supreme Committee for Internal Security convened its regular meeting, chaired by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, at the Abu Dhabi Police General HQs. The session focused on evaluating sustainable security strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing community safety and ensuring long-term stability.
During the meeting, members discussed internal security performance metrics, business continuity frameworks, and efforts to maintain operational sustainability. Strategic projects and initiatives designed to elevate the quality of security services and support national objectives were also examined in detail.
The committee reviewed operational work plans and the coordinated roles within the integrated internal security system across all police general commands. Particular emphasis was placed on assessing readiness levels and strengthening collaboration with strategic partners. Additionally, key security training programs, preparedness exercises, and future initiatives led by the Ministry of Interior were evaluated for their alignment with strategic goals of promoting safety, security, and resilience nationwide.
Other agenda items included follow-up discussions on previously implemented decisions and recommendations to ensure effective execution and continuous improvement.
The meeting was attended by senior leadership, including police chiefs, directors-general, and high-ranking officers from the Ministry of Interior and police HQs across the UAE.
